Wage range: $22.00 $25/hr. DOE, Schedule is mainly M-F (open availability) and may include weekends as needed

Bonus opportunity and Overtime pay

This location is in Phoenix, AZ must relocate after starting work

Your Impact

As the sous chef, you will drive the success of our dining services, high-volume catering, and patient meal services. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in enhancing the overall well-being of patients. Job Specific Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef or Chef Manager in supervising food preparation activities
  • Oversee and manage kitchen staff, ensuring high-quality food production
  • Helps in creating and updating menus
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning and execution
  • Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • Assist in training kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and procedures

Skills Needed

  • Experience in food handling and kitchen management
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards
  • Proficiency in food production
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • 3 years of experience
  • Servsafe certification is desired
