JOB OVERVIEW

We’re seeking an innovative and strategic Sr. Marketing Manager to join our remote-first team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about marketing, and is eager to bring fresh ideas to life. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, engages our target audience, and generates leads. You will work with various channels, including email marketing, paid advertising, and content marketing, and closely with the sales team to ensure all leads are properly nurtured and the company's revenue goals are met.

We’re seeking someone who doesn't need a roadmap; someone who thrives in an environment where their decisions and execution directly impact the company's growth. This person is confident, highly resourceful, and has a 'figure it out' attitude.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement demand-generation strategies to increase top-of-funnel traffic.
  • Develop and implement lead-generation strategies to increase leads and total conversions.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our target market, including buyer personas and the buyer's journey, evolving as needed.
  • Manage the development and execution of our digital marketing strategy, including inbound marketing (SEO/SEM), email marketing, social media, and paid social.
  • Manage targeted email marketing campaigns across the customer lifecycle to move prospects through the funnel, drive conversion rates, and increase retention.
  • Drive effective marketing campaigns, including but not limited to: email marketing, social media, demand generation, lead generation, direct mail, paid advertising, and account-based marketing.
  • Assist with the company’s SEM/SEO efforts to drive traffic, leveraging Google Analytics and other sources to track demand generation efforts, and continually define and optimize strategy.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure leads are properly nurtured and sales targets are met.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize results.
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors and agencies to execute campaigns effectively.
  • Develop visually appealing and effective campaign assets.
  • Grow the email newsletter list and social media followers organically.
  • Manage the creation of new content or updates on our website.
  • Attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis (small portion of job).
  • Analyze our marketplace and competition to make informed decisions on all growth initiatives.
  • Define and improve key areas of the customer experience that may be causing friction.
  • Analyze the success of all marketing initiatives and drive marketing decisions based on KPIs.

Qualifications You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B Demand Gen/Lead Gen marketing with a proven track record of driving lead generation and revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of various demand and lead generation channels, including email marketing, paid advertising, web, and social media marketing, as well as content marketing.
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, specifically HubSpot helpful.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven mindset with experience in testing, analyzing data, identifying key metrics, and optimizing campaign performance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Creative thinker with excellent writing skills and knowledge of B2B communication tactics.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and attention to detail.
