Job Overview: We are seeking a Licensed Associate or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who has a passion for working with children. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about furthering their training in specialized therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play therapy & more. The perfect candidate will share our passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care, while collaborating with clients and community providers to deliver the most comprehensive, personalized treatment to all clients. Key Responsibilities:


  • Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation, including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
  • Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week for full-time status.
  • Provide therapeutic services to children and families using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Participate in specialized training.
  • Engage in community outreach and education to promote mental health awareness and services.
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
  • Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
  • Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications and Skills:


  • Masters degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in the designated field.
  • Texas clinical licensure (LMFT-A, LPC-A, LMSW, LPA, etc.).
  • Experience completing treatment plans and clinical case notes.
  • Experience working with adolescents, adults, and families.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
  • Proficiency in the use of typical office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:


  • Experience with or a passion for working with military & first responders
  • Fully licensed mental health professional (LMFT-A, LPC-A, LMSW, LPA) with a valid state of Texas License.
  • Experience working with couples and families.
  • General knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
  • Passion for working with ages 5+.
  • Experience or a passion & willingness to work with military & first responders
