Be part of the movement to reduce mental health stigma
We are thrilled to introduce Ellie Mental Health to the South Austin-Dripping Springs region. We seek dedicated and distinctive therapists to become part of our organization.

What Sets Ellie Mental Health Apart?
At Ellie, we focus on crafting innovative environments for our clinicians. We strive to eliminate many of the daily challenges that hinder the delivery of exceptional mental health services. Ellie enhances the clinician's experience by offering outstanding compensation, benefits, training, and flexible schedules, while also providing centralized administrative, technological, referral, and inquiry support, client/therapist matching, initial scheduling, and ongoing billing and collections. Through these shared services, Ellie aims to minimize the administrative burdens faced by clinicians, allowing them to concentrate on what they do best—working with clients. While other group practices may adopt similar strategies, we have discovered an ideal balance in empowering our clinicians to work independently yet not in isolation.

Who Are We Seeking?
We are in search of EXCEPTIONAL Therapists. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to enhancing and broadening access to quality mental health care in the South Austin/Dripping Springs area and is looking for a full-time outpatient role. This individual will flourish in a culture that prioritizes our core values of creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance, and determination. Opportunities for in-person individual, family, and group therapy services, with the option to utilize telehealth, are available. Our therapist stars enjoy working with autonomy and flexibility while being part of a larger team.

What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation (hourly base salary plus commission) ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 based on experience
  • Health and dental insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays (8 per year)
  • Professional development (complimentary CEUs)
  • Hybrid work schedules with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote for virtual clients
  • True work/life balance (because you deserve it)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess mental health diagnoses, develop and implement treatment plans, and maintain ongoing documentation including further diagnoses, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
  • Deliver exceptional customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to advance the mission of addressing community gaps
  • Employ creativity in interventions to assist clients in achieving and surpassing their goals
  • Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocols
  • For full-time clinicians, maintain a caseload of at least 25 completed client visits per week

Independent franchisees are Equal Opportunity employers committed to diverse and inclusive workforces. Franchisees are independent business owners and not employed by Ellie Family Services, PLLP, d/b/a "Ellie Mental Health", Ellie MSO, LLC, or Ellie FAM LLC. Therefore, each franchisee and each franchisee clinic is unique, and the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment matters in their clinic, including the terms and conditions of employment for their employees, such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. Depending on the clinic location you select, the job for which you apply may be in a clinic owned and operated by an independent franchisee, and not with the corporate-owned clinics, which are based in Minnesota. This means the franchisee, not Ellie Family Services, PLLP, is responsible for all employment matters at the clinic. If you are hired for the job, the franchisee will be your employer, not Ellie Family Services, PLLP or any of its affiliated entities. For franchisee clinic locations, please contact the franchisee organization directly if you need assistance in completing forms or otherwise participating in that franchisee's application process.

Ellie Mental Health is committed to a policy of Equal Employment Opportunity and will not discriminate against an applicant or employee based on race, color, sex, religion, national origin, citizenship status, age, disability, veteran or military status, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, genetic information, or any other legally recognized protected basis under federal, state, or local laws, regulations, or ordinances. Applicants with disabilities may be entitled to reasonable accommodation under the terms of the Americans with Disabilities Act and certain state or local laws. A reasonable accommodation is a change or adjustment to a job or work environment that will ensure an equal employment opportunity without imposing an undue hardship on the operation of the business.

Employee Experience
We prioritize the well-being of our employees. From investing in their financial futures to providing competitive wages and reasonable caseload expectations, we ensure that our employees are satisfied. Happy employees perform better and provide superior client care. Regardless of your role in mental health at Ellie, our clients rely on us to cultivate an environment where our employees can thrive, enabling them to do the same.

Jobs in mental health can be challenging, often leading to emotional fatigue and burnout. At Ellie, we apply our core values of humor, creativity, authenticity, acceptance, determination, and compassion not only in our communities but also internally. Our employees have clear pathways for career advancement. We have fostered a culture that recognizes our employees as leaders.

Company Structure
Ellie operates as a socially responsible for-profit business, allowing us to be adaptable and responsive to the needs of our community. Many mental health and wellness-focused organizations are non-profits or government agencies, relying on public funding, grants, or large donors. This model often results in limited creativity and lower compensation for employees, fostering a work culture that can feel uninspiring. We have developed a new model that prioritizes flexibility, innovative decision-making, creativity, and our people while remaining a socially conscious and responsible for-profit business focused on transforming mental health care.

In summary, we are simply people helping people. Would you like to be part of our mission?
