Position SUMMARY:
The CRM Supervisor oversees the team and processes for producing Calibration and Reference Standards in support of multiple functional departments and conducting quality analysis of fabricated calibration standards used in the Lighthouse headspace gas analyzer product line. Additional responsibilities include supporting lab staff in the recertification process of customer standards.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
- Reports to the Director of Manufacturing
- Interacts with Manufacturing, Measurement Services, Tech Services and Sales
- Internal: Company management and employees
- External: Material Suppliers and other vendors
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fabricate certified calibration and reference standards from glassware to support multiple functional departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Analytical Services, Technical Services, and Sales)
- Analyze fabricated standards for quality and accuracy
- Generate standards reports establishing NIST traceability
- Schedule and supervise all aspects of CRM production to meet defined lead times or department needs.
- Review orders for calibration and reference standards
- Collaborate with Quality Systems towards ISO Standards
- Edit / Draft Standards Operating Procedures / Work Instructions as needed
- Provide support to Analytical Services for the recertification of customer calibration and reference standards.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Support other functional departments as assigned by management
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High Mechanical and Scientific Aptitude
- Exceptional technical writing and communication skills
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to quickly conceptualize and troubleshoot complex systems
- Proficiency with Google G-Suite, MS Office Products, and/or Libre Office
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 5-7 Years of Related Experience
- BS Physical Science or Equivalent years of Applicable Experience
- Exposure to Glass Blowing and Torch Work
- Working Knowledge of Vacuum Pumps and Systems

- Highly motivated and self-driven
- Customer service oriented both internally and externally
- Active listening and clear communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation skills (e.g., grammar, writing, and editing) to interact professionally with individuals internally with co-workers and externally with vendors and clients is required

High-level interpersonal and relationship skills are essential to handle sensitive, stressful, and confidential situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy - Above average ability to be flexible, organize, manage time, and set/shift priorities while meeting deadlines required
