We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role involves overseeing a variety of accounting functions, including general accounting, month-end close processes, accounts payable, treasury, and cash management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Accounting: Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the general ledger. Perform regular reconciliations and manage journal entries.
  • Month-End Close: Lead the month-end closing process, including preparation and review of financial statements. Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable function, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.
  • Treasury and Cash Management: Manage cash flow, including daily cash positions, forecasting, and banking relationships. Ensure optimal utilization of funds and compliance with financial policies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
  • Compliance and Audit: Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in accounting and financial operations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall business objectives and provide financial expertise.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close, accounts payable, and treasury functions.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Attributes
  • Experience in a similar industry or environment.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.
