Job DescriptionJob Description

The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of his/her assigned work area, group leaders and technicians. Typical interaction is with Engineering Personnel, QA Personnel and Production Personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the activities of group leaders and quality technicians.
  • Quality Manager and Quality Engineers are to establish work schedules and follow ups to assure completion of work schedules.
  • Maintains adherence to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
  • Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments and performs all other work related activities as required.
  • Establish and maintain good employee relations and adherence to proper judicious disciplinary measures when required.
  • Responsible for reviewing and administering employee performance evaluations and recommendations.
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures

.


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

  • Experience in the Quality field..
  • Experience with automotive trim parts recommended.

Skills:

  • Above average mathematical skills, written skills, and verbal skills..
  • Computer literate

Training Specific To Position:

  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.
  • Capable of using Quality measurement devices such as micrometers, calipers, indicators

OTHER:

  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time with limited prior notice.
  • Must be able to work any assigned shift.
  • Capable of overall professionalism in a business environment
  • >Must have the ability to judge color visually and must pass the Farnsworth - Munsell 100 Hue test yearly.
