PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creates and manages production timelines for various manufacturing sectors.
  • Facilitates the movement of components through the production workflow.
  • Sets delivery timelines for all client orders.
  • Collaborates with engineering and production teams to schedule custom parts.
  • Confirms customer readiness for delivery by communicating prior to dispatch.
  • Keeps precise inventory records of finished products and informs the Purchasing Supervisor of any special requirements.
  • Encourages effective communication with both internal teams and external clients through various channels: meetings, emails, and conferences.
  • Fosters a team-oriented culture where employees feel valued, trusted, and accountable, all working towards shared objectives.
  • Engages with customers, sales teams, management, engineering, quality assurance, and manufacturing staff to fulfill responsibilities.
  • Maintains and updates the shipping schedule, adapting to customer requirements.
  • Oversees outbound shipments, including the preparation of shipping documentation within the ERP system.
  • Coordinates with logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Supervises staff responsible for verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for dispatch.
  • Processes completed shipments in the ERP platform.
  • Ensures compliance with the Quality Management System; collaborates with the QA team to enhance processes across departments as necessary. Encourages team participation in reporting non-conformances to QA promptly. Strives for continuous improvement.
  • Adheres to all relevant company policies, procedures, and programs, including health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Complies with all health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
  • Follows all quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Performs other assigned duties as necessary.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School diploma or equivalent (Required)
  • Three years of relevant experience (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • APICS CPIM Certification (Preferred)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands for typing, handling, or feeling objects, tools, or controls; talk or hear.
  • Shift or overtime work may be necessary.
  • Standing and walking for 6 to 8 hours daily.
  • Bending/Stooping for 6 to 8 hours daily.
  • Occasional lifting of weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Minimal travel required.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize ERP systems.
  • Capacity to adapt and be cross-trained for various job functions as needed.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
