This role demands a deep understanding of lawn care services, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and meeting customer needs. The Sales Representative will work closely with clients to customize lawn care plans that align with their goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and fostering long-term customer satisfaction. Success in this role requires a combination of sales acumen, industry expertise, and a dedication to providing outstanding client experiences

Accountabilities:

  • Collaborate with the President to set and meet annual sales goals, ensuring targets are achieved or exceeded.
  • Sell lawn care services according to pricing and promotions, logging daily sales and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring effective scheduling, quality control, and high client satisfaction.
  • Use company software to generate reports and track performance metrics.
  • Work with the Marketing Director to create targeted marketing materials for clients.
  • Review client contracts and performance metrics annually to ensure profitability.
  • Update customer information in coordination with the Service Manager and handle service calls as needed.
  • Assist in employee training and enforce safety policies to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Run a fertilization route if necessary and handle winter work assignments, including snowplowing and cold calling.

Requirements:

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Five years of prior landscape and fertilization experience
  • Minimum of three years of sales experience
  • Prior management experience
  • ODA license
  • Energetic self-starter
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential along with the ability to learn new computer software and/or other programs that may be introduced.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a team environment, accept new challenges, multi-task and prioritize
  • Valid Driver's license with a good driving history
