The IT Specialist will oversee a team of two IT Technicians and coordinate with external consultants as needed. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure, connecting multiple locations, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in networking, continuous quality improvement, and process streamlining. Flexibility to handle additional duties as assigned, including program planning and ticket support, is essential.

About Willamette Family

This position is Full-time Exempt (Approx. 40 hours) M-F, with after-hours and weekend work for urgent matters.

Work Schedule and Location

  • Full-time Exempt (Approx. 40 hours per week)
  • Standard Hours: Monday to Friday
  • Availability for after-hours and weekend work for urgent matters
  • Primary Work Location: 1050 High St., Eugene, OR 97401 and other worksites
  • Flexibility for some remote work, with the requirement to be on-site as needed.

Compensation: $57,000+ DOE (annually)

Requirements:

IT Specialist Qualifications:

The IT specialist will have the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary to maintain the IT department's needs. This may include a combination of education, certifications, and experience in the Information Technology field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, ITIL) are a plus.
