Position Summary

Edu-Tech Academic Solutions is seeking an accomplished educator to fill the newly created position of Director of Technology & Innovation on behalf of Saltus Grammar School located in Bermuda. Founded in 1888, Saltus is committed to excellence in education and is a CAIS (Canadian Association of Independent Schools), NEASC and fully accredited PK-12 British Columbia (BC) Offshore School serving approximately 785 students. Saltus seeks a candidate eager to integrate the BC curriculum into the educational technology program. This is a unique opportunity to join a vibrant and progressive educational community.

Reporting to the Head of School, the Director of Technology and Innovation is a member of the senior administrative team, whose charge is to empower the administration, faculty, and student community to respond flexibly and creatively to real-world challenges. As an innovative, creative, and strategic leader with strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, the Director will create and sustain momentum in the school's meaningful use of technology in its curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The Director will lead and manage the IT Department, composed of (5) five staff members. An understanding of the culture of independent school education and the intentional community at its heart is deeply valued. The Director will play a pivotal role in enhancing the school's educational technology landscape, ensuring students are well-prepared to be global thinkers.
