Cybersecurity Lead Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Lead to join our team at J&J Family of Companies. As a Cybersecurity Lead, you will be responsible for providing assurance over the cybersecurity of our Innovative Medicine R&D organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the adoption of security industry best-practices to ensure the protection of critical information and assets from cyber threats.
  • Provide assurance leadership on the cybersecurity risk posture of R&D capabilities, including performing and leading assessments, design reviews, and consulting on remediation.
  • Plan and prioritize the integration of security measures in business projects during the design, development, and deployment phases.
  • Facilitate education and training to the organization on cybersecurity procedures and controls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technology or cybersecurity.
  • Solid grasp of current security threats, mitigation measures, and security vendors/technologies.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and understanding of complex environments.
  • Previous experience developing effective partnerships.
  • Superb communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Security certifications such as CRISC, CISSP, CCSP, ISSAP, CISM, etc.
  • Experience in managing cybersecurity in life sciences environments.
  • Experience in securing mixed IT and OT environments.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and standards impacting OT in healthcare and manufacturing.
