Pherson is hiring We are looking for a Training Administrator to join our team at our client’s location in Springfield, VA. The ideal candidate must be able to work proactively, independently, and as part of a team to achieve objectives. Excellent communication skills and planning/project management skills are critical for this role.
Note: An active TS/SCI clearance is required. This position will be full-time, onsite in Springfield, VA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all training activities related to the planning and implementing of a training program; from maintaining a training schedule, preparing course materials, facilitating/supporting instructors during course deliveries, and evaluating course metrics.
- Provides technical support for virtual course delivery, including establishing the training environment, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and managing course materials.
- Provides database management including Learning Management System (LMS).
- Manages student communication, participation, and rosters.
- Work closely with a team made up of a Program Manager, Instructors, and Instructional Designers to execute the program.
- Support the development and creation of training material including training guides, workbooks, handouts, tools, charts, and presentation material. Maintain high quality training course material templates and standards for delivery for multiple training methods.
- Support Instructors for classroom training deliveries by providing pre- and post-delivery activities including setting up the classroom with equipment including laptops and other classroom devices.
- Administer evaluations, surveys, and assessment tools as well as manage evaluation software and metrics.
- Research, analyze, and prepare reports to assess the relevance of the training curriculum and ensure it meets customer needs.
- Maintain a high degree of quality control through self-proofing and consistency with customer’s style guide.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- A minimum of four years in a similar role supporting a training program.
- Proficient in computer applications, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Google Chrome, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well independently and able to build working relationships at all levels of management.
- Excellent planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, sometimes under tight deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of training processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Ability to thoroughly track metrics and compile training data for reporting.
