Saddlehill Cellars is seeking a dedicated full-time Wine Cellar Associate to become a vital part of our seasonal winemaking team. This position will begin on September 1 and will end on December 1.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A WINE CELLAR ASSOCIATE

In this seasonal role, you start your day with the sunrise over our breathtaking vineyards. Your morning begins with grape sampling, selecting the finest quality grapes for our wines. As the day progresses, you dive into the heart of winemaking-assisting with grape reception, crushing, and overseeing the fermentation process. By afternoon, you're actively involved in barreling, managing 60-gallon wine barrels with care and precision.

As a Wine Cellar Associate, your role also includes essential tasks like cleaning and maintaining equipment, ensuring our operations run smoothly. Embrace the dynamic nature of your work, moving seamlessly between indoor and outdoor environments.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work long hours and in physically demanding conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some experience in the winemaking industry

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

Based in Voorhees Township, NJ, you'll enjoy a full-time, seasonal position in an enchanting vineyard setting. Expect unpredictable hours, especially during the bustling harvest season, where schedules may vary. Adaptability to work both indoors and outdoors in different conditions is essential.
