OUR CONSULTANT'S REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex information about wines in an approachable and engaging manner
• Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and helpful attitude toward customers
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Flexibility to work various shifts and days of the week, including holidays and weekends
• Passionate and knowledgeable about wine
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• TIPS Certification
• Experience in a full-service restaurant, wine bar, or tasting room (preferred)

AVERAGE DAY AS A CONSULTANT

As a Wine Consultant at our vibrant winery, you ensure the bar is pristine, well-stocked, and prepped for service. You expertly manage orders, always serving the perfect pours and adhering to proper procedures. You engage with guests by sharing detailed insights about our wines, including tasting notes, pairings, regions, and production methods. You make personalized recommendations from our exceptional wine portfolio, discuss club options, wine flights, and special events, and describe dishes from our menu with perfect pairing suggestions. Your responsibilities include checking IDs, operating the POS system, and handling transactions with precision. You also keep the bar spotless, stock glasses and wines, and complete assigned side work. Throughout the day, you support our customer service team to provide a seamless and delightful experience for all our winery's guests.

This customer service position at our vineyard offers part-time and full-time shifts from Wednesday through Sunday, 11:30 am to 9:00 pm. We serve lunch and dinner six days a week, with Mondays closed. Shifts include weekends, days, and evenings, providing flexibility for a variety of availability.
