As a Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the shipping process. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, and maintaining accurate records. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods, contributing to overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shipping Operations: Manage daily shipping activities, including scheduling, tracking, and ensuring timely dispatch of shipments.
  • Coordination: Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient shipping processes.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage stock and replenishment needs.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any shipping-related issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and generate reports on shipping activities, performance metrics, and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle complex documentation and ensure accuracy in all shipping processes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
