The Blossom Bar General Manager oversees all operations of our Blossom Bar locations. The Blossom Bar General Manager will ensure the smooth operation of each Blossom Bar, including conducting regular department audits, training Blossom Bar managers and staff, facilitating open communication with management within the stores, and guaranteeing excellent customer service at each location.

This position reports directly to the Food Service Manager. This is a full-time position not to exceed 40 hours per week.


Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience in food handling.
  • 2+ years' experience in customer service.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Supervisory experience, which includes hiring, training, evaluating, and delegating tasks.
  • Must have a Food Service Manager Certification completed within 90 days of hire.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • The ability to stand and walk for extended periods, sit and squat or kneel occasionally, and climb rarely.
  • The ability to work indoors in a climate-controlled environment, i.e., walk-in cooler, and/or freezer.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the success of each Blossom Bar by ensuring managers are meeting and/or exceeding financial goals set up for the department within a given period.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering supplies for Blossom Bar products.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll processes as needed.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards based on local and state guidelines by conducting department safety and sanitation audits.
  • Develop and maintain menus, adjusting for cost and margin changes.
  • Review departmental performance by tracking sales and analyzing data.
  • Collaborate with the Food Service Manager on developing and refining Food Service policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the marketing events process.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for Blossom Bar Managers and employees, ensuring proficiency in product knowledge, customer service protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Lead the hiring process for Blossom Bar Department Managers and assist with terminations and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining weekly schedules, adhering to labor budgets and break policies.
  • Cover for Blossom Bar Department Managers during vacation periods and serve as an additional contact point for on-call responsibilities in staffing emergencies.
  • Conduct performance reviews for Department Managers.
  • Work side-by-side with Blossom Bar Department Managers to ensure the efficiency of each Blossom Bar location.
