Our Lead Operators work on our innovative DuraFlex products. Providing the best customer service in the industry allows us to continue raising the bar on what quality service looks like.


Essential Functions

  1. Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to DuraFlex’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
  2. Read work orders, give instructions, and/or perform tasks assigned.
  3. Operate various equipment Efficiently, and Safely compliant with company safety policies.
  4. Utilizes standard work processes to ensure repeatable performance
  5. Fully participate in all Continuous Improvement and Safety efforts.
  6. Demonstrates the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production
  7. Troubleshoots minor production line issues when required.
  8. Strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality with demonstrated results
  9. Operates forklift following Company standards and guidelines by safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets
  10. Responsible for daily/weekly audits including 5S and approving finished unit product quality before leaving the department
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • (K) Working knowledge of ERP / MRP type systems

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Warehouse / Manufacturing setting
  • Prolonged periods of standing & repetitive movements throughout the entire shift
  • Must be able to lift up to and/or move materials up to 50 pounds at times
  • Ergonomics, Lifting, Bending, Pushing, Pulling


Travel

  • This job requires no planned business travel.


Education and Experience

  • High School graduation or equivalent is required. Combined experience in this type of job role of 2 (two) or more years in a manufacturing environment with education is desirable.
  • Experience in leading teams in machining and assembly environments
  • 2+ years of forklift experience preferred
  • Basic math and business writing skills
  • Must have the willingness and ability to work some weekends or provide OT support, if needed
