Operations Technician II

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare machinery for production by setting up tools and parameters based on work order specifications.
  • Monitor production status throughout each sequence and take corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct operations while overseeing machine and production processes, adhering to established procedures.
  • Inspect produced components, identify any defects, and follow protocols for discarding non-conforming parts.
  • Assist maintenance teams in repairing machinery, preventing downtime, and conducting inspections.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and production guidelines, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in English.
  • Experience operating moderately complex machinery in a manufacturing setting.
  • Good visual acuity and the ability to lift medium to heavy objects as needed.
  • External candidates must be authorized to work in the US without the need for employment visa sponsorship.

Preferred:

  • At least one year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with power tools.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
