This position will direct the implementation, improvement, and continuation of regulatory processes/requirements. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for all regulatory matters affecting operational activities and is pivotal in managing the relationship with our regulatory agencies, contractors for building maintenance, as well as negotiating with vendors for claim loss recovery.

COMPLIANCE & CLAIMS COORDINATOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and maintain regulatory submissions and review for completeness and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO certification/recertification standards.
  • Complete internal audits across departments.
  • Ensure organizational compliance with OSHA safety standards.
  • Timely review & tracking of change requests, identification of significant changes, and impact on existing processes.
  • Supporting the Operation, Sourcing and Purchasing teams for the successful completion of organizational change activities.
  • Assist Operations in troubleshooting process and regulatory issues and assist in inter-department team workshops in the resolution of process issues and regulatory concerns.
  • Providing feedback in a concise and timely manner to prevent customer impact and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain external relationships with key regulatory authorities and commercial partners in all applicable territories.
  • Support the Operations team during audits and ensuring processes in place comply with audit ready expectations.
  • Develop corrective action plans to address regulatory gaps.
  • Negotiate settlements with vendors on claim losses.
  • Schedule vendors & track progress for building maintenance / repair tasks.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

COMPLIANCE & CLAIMS COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related discipline required.
  • Experience with ISO / OSHA regulations preferred
  • Proficiency with the English language
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from regulatory agencies, or members of the team.
