Operations Specialist Job Description

At Carrier Enterprise, we are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our team. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems and procedures.
  • Participate in physical inventories and ensure accurate counting and reconciliation of inventory levels.
  • Manage and resolve inventory discrepancies, including damaged, defective, or mis-shipment of goods.
  • Coordinate and verify issues related to freight claims and warehouse transfer exceptions.
  • Perform cycle counts and research inventory discrepancies to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership teams and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Four years of warehouse or related experience, with two years of inventory control experience.
  • Knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices.
  • Familiarity with warehouse and inventory management systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with attention to detail.
