Job Description
- Manage the daily operations of the practice including patient scheduling/registration, medical records, data entry, cash posting, daily bank deposit activity, office maintenance and computer systems to include practice management/billing systems and electronic health records systems.
- Supervise and develop medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency in practice operations including staff selection, onboarding/training, scheduling, and other personnel related activity.
- Ensure practice is providing the appropriate level of patient service including the resolution of patient concerns/issues.
- Manage, implement and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Oversee compliance related activity.
- Provide additional administrative support to the physicians through the completion of assigned tasks.
- Serve as practice liaison to Integrated Dermatology corporate team
- Strong billing and financial experience is required.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant medical practice regulations.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Hands on approach to team building and willingness to work hard.
Job Type:
- Full-time: Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM
- Pay starting at $52,000
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience as an Office Manager in a medical office setting.
- 1-2 years’ experience in Dermatology, preferred but not required.
- Experience with medical software and demonstrated knowledge of proper coding (ICD-10) and medical billing process.
- Proven experience building office culture and cross functional teams to enhance patient experience and practice growth.
Education:
- Associates degree required
