Position Summary:

As the General Manager of our esteemed luxury events planning and catering company, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of all facets of event execution, from inception to completion. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee and lead a talented team of individuals, spanning various crucial departments including sales, food preparation, logistics, staffing, event management, invoicing, vendor relations, and inventory management. Through your strategic vision, operational acumen, and dedication to excellence, you will ensure the flawless execution of every event, consistently upholding our company's reputation for delivering unparalleled luxury experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Strategic Leadership:

-       Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company objectives and drive growth in the luxury events and catering market.

-       Provide visionary leadership to the team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

2.Team Management:

-       Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of professionals, including sales representatives, chefs, event coordinators, logistics specialists, and administrative staff.

-       Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, development, and retention.

3.Event Coordination and Management:

-       Oversee all aspects of event planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring seamless and memorable experiences for our clients.

-       Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations, and translate them into exceptional event concepts and designs.

-       Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all logistical requirements are met, including venue setup, food and beverage service, décor, entertainment, and transportation.

4.Sales and Marketing:

-       Drive sales initiatives and develop strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones, effectively positioning our company as the premier provider of luxury event services.

-       Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, maximizing revenue and profitability.

5. Financial Management:

-       Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and optimal resource allocation.

-       Monitor financial performance, analyze key metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.

6.Vendor and Supplier Relations:

-       Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring high-quality products and services.

-       Evaluate vendor performance regularly and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization.

7. Inventory Management:

- Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering, stock management, and inventory reconciliation, to ensure adequate supply levels and minimize waste.

8.Invoicing and Financial Reporting:

-       Manage invoicing processes and ensure timely and accurate billing for all events and services rendered.

-       Generate financial reports and analyses to provide insights into revenue trends, profitability, and financial performance.

Qualifications:

-       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

-       Proven experience in a senior management role within the events planning, hospitality, or catering industry, with a track record of success in delivering luxury experiences.

-       Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams to achieve common goals.

-       Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

-       Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, colleagues, and vendors.

-       Proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and strategic planning.

-       Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to events planning and catering.
