Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the implementation of all high-priority projects and initiatives within the organization. As the sole project management role in the company, this position requires extensive experience, a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to manage all project-related activities independently. The Senior Project Manager ensures that projects are completed on time and within scope while aligning with the strategic goals of the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closure of all company projects.
  • Ensure project objectives are aligned with organizational goals and deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Assign responsibilities, set performance expectations, and facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to monitor team progress.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to takeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and partners.
Requirements:

Unique Role Characteristics

  • As the only project management role in the company, this position carries a high degree of autonomy and responsibility and will independently manage all aspects of project management across the organization.
  • This role requires a strong ability to understand the business context and strategic objectives of each project to ensure that project goals align with the broader business goals and contribute to the organization's overall strategy.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, company-wide, strategic projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
