Randall Construction Holdings is currently seeking a top-tier Accounts Payable (A/P) Coordinator & Accounting Assistant to work in our in Apopka, FL headquarters. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.


Position Summary

The A/P Coordinator will be primarily responsible for processing invoices and payments. This will include verifying invoices, coding invoices, and entering invoices into the accounting system (ComputerEase). The coordinator will also be responsible for issuing payments, reconciling vendor statements, and maintaining vendor files. The coordinator will respond promptly to vendor inquiries and resolve any discrepancies. Further, this position will be trained to assist and enhance other aspects of Randall’s Accounting department as assigned.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain vendor accounts by requesting W-9s and updating account information
  • Process invoices by verifying documentation and requesting approvals
  • Resolve discrepancies by researching and communicating with vendors and employees
  • Perform two-way match between invoices and purchase orders
  • Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries
  • Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, preparing checks, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation
  • Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
  • Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
  • Maintain historical records properly filing documents
  • Protect organizational integrity by keeping information confidential
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Qualification Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume A/P environment required
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, or related field, preferred
  • Experience in construction of related field.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Self-starter that can work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.

Physical Requirements

This is an office position and, as such, you must be able to sit up to six or more hours in an eight-hour workday, lift light objects such as files and paperwork frequently during the day, and objects weighing up to 10 pounds occasionally during the day. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job.
