Key Responsibilities:
As a Financial Record Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining precise financial documentation and ensuring timely processing of all transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Reconciling financial accounts to guarantee the accuracy of all data.
- Preparing monthly financial statements and reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with various departments to enhance financial procedures and practices.
- Supporting year-end audits and tax preparation activities.
- Managing and tracking expenses related to real estate transactions, including commissions and marketing costs.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A four-year degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting software.
- Experience in real estate accounting is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to work independently.
Job Type: Full-Time
