Summary

Schedule installation and select the correct installation contractors for those particular jobs. Oversee the installation process and ensure all installation requirements are completed per manufacturer specifications and National Installation Standards. Create and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or unexpected events. Communicate schedule changes to relevant parties in a timely manner. Ensure all appointments are properly documented and recorded in company databases.

Duties

Walk all upcoming new construction (and retail jobs when requested) at least 1 weeks prior to scheduled start.Assess preparation and installation issues and communicate to sales personnel.Ensure proper documentation is entered in ticket and additional materials are ordered if necessary.

Interface with superintendents on new construction work to ensure builder satisfaction.Relay all issues and/or concerns to management.Ensure timelines are communicated to installers and are met.

Inspect sub-contractors work on a continuing basis to ensure quality of workmanship.Relay all concerns and/or issues to management.Continually work to improve quality of installations.

Assess all customer service issues.Direct service department as to proper remedy using appropriate documentation.Ensure all issues are followed up on and documented.
Assess chargeback issues and follow through to conclusion.

Work to build and maintain an adequate, high quality sub-contractor force.Do the recruiting, hiring and firing and interfacing with the sub-contractors.

Supervise store service technician and service manager.Communicate with the service personnel to ensure customer satisfaction and high quality of workmanship on all follow-up issues.

Protect the company’s assets and interests in all dealings.Obtain proper approval, in documented form, from clients and vendors; ensure that management is aware of all issues which concern monies.

Manage claim issues using proper procedures.Document and follow claims through to conclusion.Work with management on claim issues to ensure their knowledge and agreement.Keep management fully informed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and ensure that all installations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
