POSITION SUMMARY
Join our team as a Reservation Representative, where you’ll be the front line in selling Uniworld products to key accounts, national accounts, and travel agents. You’ll provide top-notch assistance and information through sales and service calls or emails, all while maintaining our high performance standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive inbound sales calls. Convert inquiries into deposited bookings.
- Receive inbound service calls. Answer pre-departure questions and assist with payments or booking updates. Research and provide follow up via return calls or emails as needed.
- Respond to emails from travel agents or guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Cultivate, improve and maintain relationships with clients and travel agents.
- Manage overflow sales and service calls from our consumer direct team.
- Must adhere to Quality Assurance guidelines on all calls.
- Must stay familiar with all products and promotional offers.
- Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE
- Customer service experience required, preferably in a call center or other phone-based role.
- Travel industry experience preferred.
- Strong customer service background.
- Proficient in office applications.
COMPETENCIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn the in-house reservations system.
- Professional presence that aligns with Uniworld's standards.
