Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with distributors and retailers, driving sales growth, and expanding our market footprint. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in the beverage industry and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
- Identify and establish relationships with new distributors and retailers, while maintaining and strengthening existing partnerships.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to drive product awareness and sales.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with distributors and retailers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to senior management.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to represent Savia USA and build relationships within the industry.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to distributors and retailers.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development or sales within the beverage industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the beverage market and industry trends.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
