Your Impact

A Cashier at our hospital cafe makes an impact on the lives of patients, visitors, and hospital staff alike. Through friendly and empathetic customer service, they contribute to a positive and welcoming atmosphere. This role extends beyond transactions, creating a supportive environment that enhances the overall experience for everyone in the hospital.

What you will do

  • Operates cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus).
  • Sets up appropriate cashier bank.
  • Documents cash received and charges made.
  • Identifies customer needs and refers to the appropriate department for follow-up when necessary.
  • Collects data for cash control.
  • Stocking refrigerators with beverages, condiments, and other retail items.
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and polishing general work areas, this includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and throwing trash.
  • Prepare and gather items needed for meal service.
  • Provides exceptional service to all guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will need

  • ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card.
  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
  • Ability to provide documents for work authorization. We utilize E-Verify, an online system that allows us to confirm the eligibility of our employees to work in the United States.
