This role is critical to our organization because it directly impacts our sales performance and customer satisfaction. Salespeople are the primary point of contact for our customers, and their ability to effectively communicate the value of our vehicles, understand customer needs, and build lasting relationships is essential for driving sales and repeat business. They represent the face of Heather Cannon Honda, ensuring that each customer has a positive experience that aligns with our commitment to exceptional service and community support. By meeting sales targets and fostering customer loyalty, salespeople contribute significantly to the overall success and growth of our dealership.
Responsibilities:* In this role, you will be responsible for: Customer Engagement and Service: Greeting customers and assisting them in selecting the right vehicle based on their needs and preferences. Providing detailed information about our vehicles, including features, benefits, and financing options. Conducting test drives and demonstrating vehicle features. Sales Process Management: Guiding customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase. Preparing and presenting sales contracts and financial documents. Meeting and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets. Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Following up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. Market and Product Knowledge: Staying informed about the latest automotive industry trends, new models, and dealership inventory. Continuously learning about product updates, features, and competitive comparisons to effectively communicate value to customers. Administrative Duties: Accurately recording customer information, sales activities, and follow-up actions in the dealerships CRM system. Coordinating with the finance and service departments to ensure smooth transactions and delivery of vehicles. Community Engagement: Participating in dealership events and community activities to promote Heather Cannon Honda and strengthen our local presence. Upholding the dealerships reputation for excellent customer service and community involvement. By fulfilling these responsibilities, you will help drive the success of Heather Cannon Honda and ensure a positive experience for every customer.
Qualifications:* The ideal candidate for this role will have the following qualificaitons: Job Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. Previous experience in automotive sales or a related field is advantageous but not required. Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to understand and meet customer needs, preferences, and concerns. Proficient in using computers and familiarity with CRM software. Excellent negotiation and closing skills. Personal Attributes: A positive and approachable attitude with a strong customer service orientation. High level of motivation and a proactive approach to achieving sales targets. Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Knowledge and Interests: Interest in the automotive industry and a willingness to stay informed about new products, features, and market trends. Knowledge of Honda vehicles and their competitive advantages is a plus. Licenses and Certifications: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required. Any relevant sales certifications or training will be considered an asset. Work Environment: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate customer needs. Comfortable with a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Professionalism: Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and ethical behavior in all interactions. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
