The Lange Agency is one of the fastest growing Allstate agencies in Michigan and we are looking to expand our in-house sales force as we continue to grow with a new location in Battle Creek. This is NOT your normal insurance agency. The Lange Agency believes in creating an upbeat and fun environment. Not only do our insurance sales representatives win technology gadgets, gift certificates, and weekend getaways among other incentives, but they make a great salary without having to work weekends, holidays, or nights. They are paid a SALARY every 2 weeks, PLUS commission, PLUS bonus. Other benefits include 401(k) with company match, paid time off, vacation time, life, and accident plans available. Sales experience is preferable but not required. NO PRIOR INSURANCE EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. As long as you are coachable, driven, and accountable then we will train you. Responsibilities
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
  • Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
  • Develop insurancequotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
  • Developongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Follow up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems.
  • Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.

Requirements
  • Must be willing to obtain a property and casualty insurance license, or currently be licensed
  • An insurance license is not required to apply or interview
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
  • Ability to create relationships and build trust
  • Be organized and efficient
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident self-starter who works well independently
  • Maintain a positive and self-motivated attitude
  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Driven to fulfill customers needs
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
