Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile professional to join our finance team in the role of Accountant with additional responsibilities in administration and property management. Reporting directly to the Vice President - Corporate Controller, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing administrative tasks, and managing property-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Accounting:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Controller to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Perform Monthly/Quarterly close of the accounting records.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to various departments within the organization, representing the Finance Team.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
- Property Management:
- Oversee property-related matters, including lease agreements, maintenance, and vendor relationships.
- Conduct periodic property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage property-related budgets and financial transactions.
- Reporting:
- Generate and analyze various financial and operational reports for management review.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of accounting processes and procedures.
- Provide regular updates to the Vice President - Corporate Controller on key financial and property-related metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Three to Four years’ experience working in an accounting position.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, administration, and property management roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks Online accounting software.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
