SUMMARY: The Project Manager is responsible for these functions of the company to include daily project management to meet customer production needs: production work flow, project set up / launch, quality and training of inspectors/production workers, work instructions development and implementation for success. Inspection productivity and Quality output equal ZERO defects to our clients' customers..

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES/WORK INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Manage the shop floor projects inside the facility including sorting, inspection, packaging projects. 2) Work with key departments such as Business Development Team, HR/Personnel Manager, Data and Communications Team, Inspection Teams, and Shipping & Receiving to facilitate, coordinate and schedule projects from launch, while in-process, and until completion. Also coordinate shipments to and from the customer where and when necessary by working with Shipping & Receiving Dept and key areas of other functions. 3) Manage shop Floor Leads and customer inventory during sort/inspection process inside the plant. 4) Ensure all records are taken and are maintained for all functions of the company where required. 5) Other duties as assigned.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

Education, Experience, and Knowledge

Bachelors Degree and/or Previous equivalent experience in manufacturing, quality or project management.

Skills and Abilities

Computer Skills dealing with Microsoft Office
