From pier to plate, this is specialty seafood at its finest.


Position overview

Ensure the production process remains smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff. Direct, train, and assist manufacturing and production workers. Promote a safe workplace and enforce safety rules. Maintain, improve production and yield standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other responsibilities w/ similar skill and work conditions as assigned.

  • Monitor employee performance daily
  • Ensure all materials are available in keeping a constant production flow
  • Meet or exceed daily production schedule
  • Act as a communication liaison between shifts and to upper management
  • Work with HR on staffing needs
  • Responsible for plant security at night
  • Identifying areas needing improvement
  • Responsible for the maintaining of all departmental equipment working with the maintenance department
  • Team leader driving the company message


Working Relations

  • Reports directly to the Director of Operations.
  • Works hand in hand with the planning department
  • Supervises all activity on second shift


Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities):

  • 2 years Supervisory experience in a production environment preferred
  • 2-year Business management degree or experience in the field
  • Able to work in a cold wet environment
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.


Supervisory Responsibilities (when applicable):

Able to supervise a production shift with minimal supervision


Physical characteristics:

  • Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking. Frequently requires standing, fine dexterity, sitting, and handling.
  • Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching.
  • Rarely requires climbing.
  • This position will be utilizing machines, tools, equipment, and work Aids, including but not limited to: Telephone, calculator, printer, facsimile, copier, binding machine, and automobile.
  • Computer Equipment and Software: Desktop computer; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet.
