Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will ensure that all maintenance tasks are performed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a thorough understanding of maintenance procedures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:
    • Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff.
    • Assign tasks and oversee the work of maintenance personnel to ensure timely and quality completion.
    • Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a positive work environment.
  2. Maintenance Operations:
    • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and repair work.
    • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and comply with safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
    • Prepare reports on maintenance activities, budgets, and performance metrics.
    • Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Conduct safety training and meetings to promote a safe working environment.
  5. Technical Expertise:
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
    • Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance technology.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects as required.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require occasional evening or weekend work to address urgent maintenance issues.
  • Must be able to work in various environments, including outdoor and indoor settings, and in varying weather conditions.
