ABOUT THE ROLE:

SNAPSHOT: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for managing and leading territory teams to achieve sales targets and inspire high performance. As a RSM, achieving success is through building and maintaining relationships with key customers, business development, growing existing accounts and retention within assigned territories.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Achieve profitability sales growth within assigned territory.
  • Manage and maintain relationships by regularly meeting with existing customers and key decision makers to retain and increase sales while ensuring complete customer service satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities and strategies for existing accounts and new business development.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations.
  • Utilize selling skills to develop and understand customer needs.
  • Stay current with changing trends, competitors and supply and demand to maintain and grow sales.
  • Oversee, collaborate, coach and train Territory Sales Managers within assigned territory.
  • Promote and attend Lyons Trade Shows and other marketing events.

  • Utilize selling skills to develop and understand customer needs.
  • Stay current with changing trends, competitors and supply and demand to maintain and grow sales.
  • Oversee, collaborate, coach and train Territory Sales Managers within assigned territory.
  • Address potential issues and problem: prepare plans and find successful and prompt solutions.
  • Promote and attend Lyons Trade Shows and other marketing events.

ABOUT YOU:

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years professional and proven work experience in outside sales / leadership role to include team development and management.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) required.
  • Familiarity and experience with CRM software to manage the sales process, forecast, and setting sales goals preferred.
  • Ability to understand and / or experienced in Consumer-Packaged Goods Industry required.
  • Strong organizational skills with problem-solving attitude.
  • Resides and ability to travel with the assigned territory.
