TITLE:Vice President of Sales Building Materials

LOCATION:Charlotte, NC

SHIFT:1st


PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Establishes and implements sales strategies to support sales and profit growth within the assigned sales channels and across the company's enterprise.
  • Develops annual sales plans and associated regional sales budgets
  • Manages all sales team members and processes.
  • Cultivates and fosters strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Attends and participates in key trade and customer events.
  • Trains, mentors, and motivates the sales team.
  • Coaches and develops future leaders of the business.
  • Ability to manage and plan multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Masters (MBA) Degree in a relevant field is required.
  • 7-10 years relevant experience in consumer durable products industry through sales, product management or marketing.
  • Experience of developing and driving a sales channel; developing programs and building long-term relationships.
  • Experience developing and deploying strategic initiatives to profitably expand and grow a business.
  • Experience and Proven ability to drive top-line growth in small to medium sized customer base versus high volume sales with a handful of large-scale retail chains.
  • Experience and Demonstrated success in the growth and development of a national sales force.
  • Experience and Exposure in the building materials manufacturing space.
  • Solid computer skills with experience in the Microsoft Office Suite to include Excel, Word Processing, and PowerPoint presentations.
