About The Internship
As a Public Relations Assistant in Brand Marketing, you will have unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of PR, working closely within the team and cross-functional partners on impactful projects. You have the chance to immerse yourself in press tracking and reporting, pitches, press releases and sample tracking contributing to our team's success while honing your skills in collaboration, reporting and PR. This role is perfect for motivated individuals seeking to explore their passion for Brand Marketing and Public Relations, develop new competencies, and lay the groundwork for a successful career journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist with weekly press tracking and reporting.
- Work on press releases and pitches across multiple categories including beauty, fashion, events and others.
- Assist with multiple aspects of brand marketing events including gift bags, face sheets, creating shot lists and pitch lists.
- Work on list building for new press and influencer names and contacts.
- Assist with sample trafficking and warehouse orders for press and influencers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergrad or master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, PR or other related areas.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Suite, Slack and Monday.com

- Compensation: $16.90 an hour. This temporary Assistant role will be part-time (16-24 hours/week) and run from September 10th – December 13th.
