Position Summary:

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Market Director embodies and fosters all aspects of the Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) culture and core values. The Market Director is the liaison between bakery management and the Support Team. They ensure that Nothing Bundt Cakes operating principles are followed within the company bakeries. They build and maintain cross functional relationships with the multiple bakeries within the geographic areas they serve and the Support Team to create solutions and strategize for the future.

Accountabilities/Duties:

  • Ensure an excellent level of customer service is always a priority by executing and achieving highest overall satisfaction consistently through regular assessment, coaching and follow-up within each district.
  • Offers training, development, ongoing feedback and coaching support in all aspects of bakery operations.
  • Evaluates and develops effective teams that work collaboratively to achieve results.
  • Builds and promotes strategies to achieve market performance goals.
  • Translates NbC financial benchmarks to the NbC managers while creating and executing strategies to maximize sales and control expenses.
  • Seeks top talent by networking, recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining high quality talent to fill bakery profiles and succession planning to strengthen the bakeries’ people sourcing strategy.
  • Assists in marketing plan execution with all NbC managers while ensuring marketing strategies and overall growth and profitability.
  • Manages a geographic area and the multiple issues that arise.
  • Manages and drives growth of corporate bakeries to meet or exceed profitability expectations for the market in sales, labor, average ticket, retail %, and COG’s.
