The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, verifying and recording transactions, and maintaining accurate financial records.Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
  • Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
  • Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus
  • Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is required
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
