We are seeking talented Research Chemists or Research Engineers to expand our R&D team at our Watertown lab. This is an opportunity to join our talented & productive team in a start-up environment with the ability to make a large impact on the outcome of the company. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Work independently in a lab environment on applied research projects 
• Contribute new ideas to solve problems at the lab and at scale
• Design, synthesize, characterize, and test new materials 
• Develop new methods for application testing (process simulation) 
• Communicate ideas and solutions in both internal and external presentations 
• Contribute to the patent portfolio of the company 
• Write technical reports and proposals 
• Travel occasionally to external sites and meetings 

Prerequisites: 
• Must have the desire to work in a start-up environment, and to solve technical problems
• BS or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Materials Engineering 
• Demonstrated creativity and problem solving 
• Must have strong communication, technical writing, and presentation skills 
• Willingness to take initiative and follow-through, with good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must have a can-do attitude and be responsive in the fast pace of a start-up environment 
• Valid driver's license and U.S. work authorization
