Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated RF Product Engineering Manager to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in RF/microwave engineering and experience managing product development projects. As the RF Product Engineer Manager, you will oversee the design, development, and commercialization of advanced amplifier products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the design and development of advanced RF/amplifier systems, components, and circuits.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, from concept through production.
  • Conduct and oversee advanced tests on electrical systems and components to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards. Analyze test results and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on amplifier design, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior engineers, promoting their professional growth and technical skills.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration within the engineering team.
  • Represent the engineering department in executive meetings and contribute to organizational decision-making.
  • Promote and support company objectives, core values, mission, and vision statements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure success of product.
  • Performing other duties as assigned, embracing tenacity and adaptability in fulfilling additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:
  • Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires you to have or obtain a government security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in RF/microwave product development, with a focus on amplifiers.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in engineering, with at least 6 years in a strong leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of amplifier design principles, RF/microwave circuit design, and performance testing.
  • Experience with mmW technologies and high-frequency amplifier design.
  • Proven track record of managing engineering projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in CAD tools, simulation software, and test equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
