Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLentech has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Information Assurance Security Analyst. Join us as a key participant of a dynamic team supporting multiple cloud applications for Government customers. Contribute to a security team managing security compliance, continuous monitoring, and supporting audits for multiple systems to maintain their Authority to Operate (ATO).

Work Location: (Remote)

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Work in coordination with the Lentech operations and project management teams safeguarding Government information and information systems, coordinating with Federal security teams to ensure the on-going integrity of the data and applications we manage for these customers.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team with the understanding that no task is too big or too small. Must have a can do attitude and work with integrity and honor when dealing with peers and Federal clients.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to explain complex security topics and ideas in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Must be organized and able to work across multiple projects and activities throughout the day.
  • Prepare for and assist in the formal security risk assessments (ATOs, ASAs) of NIST 800-53 Security and Privacy controls for moderate systems in a cloud environment.
  • Support multiple hosting customers and coordinate their security deliverables/documentation requirements with the Lentech Operations Team.
  • Responsibilities include the continuous monitoring of security deliverables, processes and procedures across client base.
  • Part of management review team involved in security tool technology refresh. This includes the ongoing review and selection of hosting security tools that satisfy customer security policy needs (e.g., IDS, IDP, Monitoring tools, integrity tools, malware tool sets, etc.,)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Systems Theory or related field such as , Mathematics Philosophy, or Forensics. (Experience equivalent to a degree will be considered on a case-by-case basis.)
  • 5-10 years-experience with NIST 800-53 FISMA compliant systems, ATO Security Documentation Development, Configuration Management process workflow, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Reporting and Management, Customer Liaison, Scan Analysis, Project Management and information security experience and management in the Federal arena. Enterprise architecture experience. This includes a minimum of 5 years direct experience working as an ATO documentation analyst with at least three of those years as an ISSO.
  • Minimum of three years in developing ATO packages including System Security and Privacy Plans (SSPP). Also required is Configuration Management experience of a system’s Baseline, Configuration Management of Enterprise architecture and the definition of a system’s security boundary.
Certifications:
  • CAP and/or
  • CISSP and/or CCSP preferred
Desired:

CCSP certification and/or experience with AWS or other cloud service, ITIL training and certification, CMMI/CMMC experience, security policy writing, compliance management, SOP development, auditing, and IT operations and incident response. Experience with SIEM and other security operations and forensic tools, Pen testing, audit support, and requirements definition.
