- Test Execution: Conduct both manual and automated testing to verify software functionality, performance, and security. Identify, document, and monitor software defects using a defect tracking system.
- Test Automation: Design and maintain automated testing scripts for regression assessments. Seek opportunities to enhance test automation coverage and efficiency.
- Defect Management: Report and prioritize software defects, collaborating with developers to replicate and resolve issues. Reassess resolved defects to confirm that fixes are effective and do not introduce new problems.
- Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure that software meets business requirements and user expectations.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of test plans, test outcomes, and defect reports. Provide clear and concise documentation to support the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Performance Testing: Execute performance and load testing to confirm that software applications can manage anticipated levels of user activity and data processing.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing.
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in organizing and conducting user acceptance testing with end-users to validate that the software aligns with their expectations and requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the software development process and propose strategies for mitigation. Ensure that testing encompasses high-risk areas and critical functionalities.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of software development and testing methodologies. Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Capability to identify root causes of defects and suggest solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly document and convey test results, defects, and recommendations.
- Teamwork: Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness to collaborate and share knowledge with colleagues.

- Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
