Responsibilities
- Training Program Participation: Engage in a structured training program designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed as an insurance agent.
- Learning Insurance Products: Study and understand various insurance products offered by Farmers Insurance, including auto, home, life, and commercial insurance, as well as acquiring/maintaining insurance licenses.
- Client Relationship Development: Learn effective strategies for building and maintaining client relationships, providing personalized service, and meeting client needs.
- Sales and Marketing: Develop proficiency in sales techniques and marketing strategies to promote insurance products and expand your client base.
- Policy Management: Assist in policy management tasks, including processing applications, policy changes, and claims assistance under the guidance of experienced agents.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies in all client interactions and transactions.
- Professional Development: Commit to ongoing professional development and continuing education to maintain industry knowledge and licensing requirements
Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or coursework in business, finance, or related fields is a plus.
- Licensing: Must have or be willing to obtain required insurance licenses (training and support will be provided).
- Experience: Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; excellent interpersonal skills; ability to learn and adapt quickly; strong work ethic and self-motivation.
