Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our operations in Brownsville, TX. Essential Functions:

  • Count cash in vault daily and prepare for deposit.
  • Coordinate payroll for the area of responsibility; review and correct time sheets and time adjustment forms.
  • Perform various accounting functions including preparing payroll, accounts receivable, bank deposits, petty cash, and vacation/leave information.
  • Prepare and process invoices, reports, purchase orders, P-cards, receipts, fuel reports, and other financial statements as directed.
  • Reconcile and research invoices and statements.
  • Organize, file, and enter data of receipts and expenditure funds into the accounting system.
  • Perform routine office tasks such as data entry, typing correspondence, filing, faxing, telephoning, and photocopying.

  • Special Certification and Licenses: Valid Texas Driver's License required.
