Resident Health Service Supervisor- Bilingual


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

  • Knowledgeable in health practices and procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines governing
  • Ability to implement the programs, goals, objectives, policies & procedures of the nursing

• Able to perform proficiently in all clinical competency areas including but not limited to: supervisory, charting and documentation, and patient rights.

  • Detect, report, and potential infectious, safety, and sanitation risks.
  • Monitor information and documents to ensure the appropriate, accurate, and timely documentation.
  • Able to respond in a leadership capacity to emergency situations related to safety.
  • Able to assist in the evacuation of clients.
  • Coordinate with other health care professionals (i.e. social workers, therapists, etc.) to ensure resident care plans and services are carried out.
  • Oversee incidents, abuse and neglect to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Manage preparations for site visits and inspections and recommend corrective action plans.
  • • Exhibit excellent client service and a positive attitude toward residents, families, internal and external
  • visitor and cohort
  • • Must demonstrate dependability, regular good attendance, time management, use of reasoning and
  • good judgment skills
  • • Must be able to concentrate with frequent interruptions
  • • Must be able to communicate and function productively with Operations Manager and stakeholders.



Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education:

Bachelor's in social work, sociology, psychology, or related fields.

Experience:

Five years of supervisory experience

Fluent in Spanish

Experience in working for non-for-profit organizations and/or shelters.

Other:

Must demonstrate ability to handle emergency and crisis situations.

Statement of good health (required every two (2) years throughout employment.
