Learn And Play Montessori Schools has a part time HR Consultant opportunity open We have 13 beautiful campuses flourishing across the Bay Area and we are rapidly growing. We are seeking a part-time HR consultant to come in to help train and strengthen our HR department.

Required Duties and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources management experience, including but not limited to: staffing/recruiting, termination, record-keeping, payroll, benefits administration, employee retention, workers compensation, unemployment claims, paid family leave etc.
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment laws
  • Ability to balance employee concerns with company objectives
  • Update and implement new employee handbook policies
  • Uniform and consistent enforcement of employment policies
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Paylocity payroll system experience preferred
  • AA or BS Degree in HR related field preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Clearance of TB test, fingerprints and any other mandatory state/federal requirements
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
  • Provide previous Employer References.

This job is fully onsite at the corporate office in Fremont CA

Pay rate is negotiable
