The Bridges Program is a collaborative effort between the Kenosha County Division of Children and Family Services and Kenosha Unified School District, focusing on providing essential support to students facing challenges in their educational journey. Bridges is a short-term interim placement for struggling students aged 12-18 who need one-to-one attention in order to plan for graduation and career preparation, and to re-engage in an appropriate educational environment.

The Assistant Supervisor will assist with the supervision of staff within the Bridges Program at Hillcrest School.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR:

  • Monitor work performance of youth workers and files.
  • Assist in completing monthly and quarterly reports, staffing lists, and schedules.
  • Participate in the monitoring of the program budgets.
  • Act as supervisor in their absence.
  • Provide supervision and support to youth placed in the Summer Youth Employment Program.
  • Maintain a caseload as a Bridges Youth Worker.
  • Safely transport clients as needed.

LOCATION: Kenosha, WI. Some local travel may be required, with mileage reimbursement.

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday during school hours, with occasional evenings

SALARY: $24.00-25.00 per hour
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License, personal automobile insurance, and reliable transportation on a daily basis.
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
  • One year of previous experience working with at-risk youth and families is required.
